Hail to you, O Goddess, the Moon, blessed lady, fortunate, cold and moist, temperate and beautiful. Of all the planets you are the head and key; your movement is smooth, you have shining light, lady of happiness and joy, of good words, of good fame, of the power to bless.

Thus you are above them all, you are the king and they the servants; you bring good fortune when you form aspects, and you bring misfortune when you stand in conjunction. No one can recognize your excellence completely, nor completely understand your nobility.
